Can someone please post Nick Zito\'s record in the Derby listing all of his starters. I don\'t beieve he has hit the board since 1994.

You are correct that he hasn\'t hit the board since 1994.  Closest was in 1998 with Halory Hunter.

And I don\'t think this means you can automatically toss a Zito horse.   Trainers who\'ve never won before win it all the time.  It\'s all about the horse.

Only 1 trainer out of the past 7 Derby winners had a previous win (Nafzger)...
Wooley, Dutrow, Matz, Sherrifs, Servis, Tagg all first-time winners.

So,he\'s been off the board since 1994 eh? That\'s 16 years and a lotta dead money, a bookmakers dream - even with his 2 (fluke IMO) winners..........

I think it\'s TAP\'s turn.

I mean think about the drug testing issue. Super Saver set a stakes record at this very track where this drug testing will be going on. It may be a factor for the favorite, but I see it as a non issue with SS. Lots to like about SS especially the post time odds.
