This race immediately brought to mind the AK Derby in that the track favored speed and one front-runner (that I didn\'t use) basically wired \'em. This is why I have to be more focused on the track sometimes than on the horse. Those TP horses are running big at Keen. Wonder if that (usually slower) track masks the effort...

UptownCB showed some real talent in closing on this fast surface, though. Wonder if that was the plan to lay back or whether he got pinned on the rail early or some combination of the two. Certainly with the horse to his inside getting out, there might have been a hole.
