Noticed Saturday that two of Zito\'s horses that had run monster figs last time crapped out at Belmont.  Just Ben was toast in the stretch and Cool Coal Man was eighth.  After watching Just Ben I tossed Cool Coal Man and still lost...did not like Asiatic Boy.

However, Coal Play won the Salvator Mile at 6.7 just minutes after the Dwyer.

Just Ben and CCM both ran several points off their tops Derby weekend at CD where there was super testing, and jumped way forward in their next start in NY. Zito\'s Coal Play, who won the Salvator Mile Sat, is an even more extreme example of the same thing.

Monmouth is Dodge City right now, as bad as Delaware.

Then why are several prominent CD-based outfits shipping to the later. These are some name people who should know better than to walk into a gun fight without a gun.

Well if you want to run on dirt for decent purses in the Midwest, there aren\'t many options past Churchill.

Even a non-expert like me would have to say when you see a group of 30-40% trainers in the standings that it\'s, well, interesting.

Probably because they can use their \"guns\" at that track also whereas they can\'t use them at churchill..

Lost,

Disagree with you completely since the USUAL SUSPECTS in addition to a few new shooters dominated the meet after the derby-testing hoopla.  It was business as usual starting around the middle of May.

It will be interesting to see how it goes for this group. We need to track how adaptable they are.

TGJB

Lost-- that is correct. And until we get accurate information made public as to which horses are being tested, how they are being tested, what they are being tested for, and what the results are, we won\'t know what changed.

I told the JC committee that after the circus left town things went back to normal at CD.

Great industry.

Cody Autrey has been spiking tops with his 5 and 6-year olds La/Tx shippers at Delaware.
