The winner of this race is assured a spot in the Derby field. I hope the folks
at CD have taken into account the possibility of a Dead Heat; I guess the Derby
spot would go to the co-winner with the most earnings.

Personally, I think this Brit win and your in scenario is too gimmicky and
unnecessary; its not like the Derby needs added hype, and I am sure we will see
Euro runners in abundance for this year\'s BC.

mlnolan00: How to they determine graded stakes earnings from other countries if a foreign horse is trying to get into the Derby?  I assume via the exchange rate, but on what date do they go by?  The day and time that the race was won?
