Spa Space

Was at the Spa this am at 6:30 to get a good look at the new and um....improved Saratoga. First, the parking lot next to the clubhouse is all but gone. I have been using that lot for years and it has been turned into a large closet of junk; Second, the new food areas are actually going to be a nice addition including the \"row\" of five Saratoga favs that are located new the old paddock area; and lastly, please go and check out the new VIP area that has been jammed into the clubhouse. For 15,000 you can eat/drink, and stay \"cool\" in an area that is a tiny bit larger than a NYS toll booth. What a waste of space.
The racing was still good despite the puddles and the short fields. For the time being, it is still a great place to be. Post time on Thurs is now 1:35
