The upcomign week should make for lots of lively debate on the merits of each.
The perceived front runner who may or may not like the distance, versus the defined closer who answers the surface question.
I\'m not gonna offer an opinion until the Post Positions are drawn.
Brown drawing the auxiliary gate or Colonel drawing a poor post could unravel things in a hurry.
We\'ll all know in a short while.

I firmly beleive Cowtown Cat and and Gayego will set the pace with BB a length behind in the clear to their outside. BB looked VERY comfortable stalking in his Allowance win in March at GP.

This is all dependent on the draw of course

Buck,
I don\'t like Cowtown Cat one bit.

If you have something of substance or wit to add to the conversation, by all means do so. If not, stop filling up my board and burying significant posts.

Yeah Buck, Cowtown Cat was last year. This one is Cowboy Cal.

Amazing performance.

He\'s a big green kid, even now.

Cowtown Cat, Cowboy Cal, Pletcher, It\'s all the same thing anyway in regards to the Derby:-) As Stone Cold Steve Austin Says \" It doesn\'t matter what your name is!\"

The Cowboy is simply an insignificant pace factor over this strip at 10 poles

I think the TGraph theory is that pace is subsumed in the figure and too much focus on it is tangential. I haven\'t seriously factored the likely fractions yet. I\'ll wait til the post draw for that.

Cowboy Cal/Cowtown Cat, hasn\'t inspired me. He\'ll have to work over the strip well to get serious attention from me. That said, I was not a fan of Colonel John until today and now I factor him a perfecta horse.
