We will know in a moment

Straight Exacta over the 7.

Michael D.

not sure if it was the trip, the surface, or the horse, but taking that risk with Leparoux up was crazy.

I\'ll give the horse another shot.

This wasn\'t the only crazy move I have made today.

About to make a smart one.

No more bets........

Denis lost his cork when he skipped the Rebel, skipping a race on a track that he clearly liked.

Now in order to make the field he has to run in the Lexington. See what trying to nurse a horse there gets you? Though I\'m quite certain the Illinois Derby results were good to some.

Never, ever wager on Poly!

I know DOC ran what appeared to be a huge race last out. I also know that a couple of horses already came out of that race to win (including one with a similar trip to him), but I don\'t believe that performance was all it was cracked up to be. He closed off a very fast pace that day. I mentioned that a couple of times last week.

He is not the first deep closer to put up an unusually fast time in a fast paced race that turned out to not be representative of what the horse could do in more average circumstances. Admittedly, that\'s not the easiest trip in the world to evaluate though.

For what\'s it\'s worth, I don\'t think today\'s effort was really indicative either because the pace looked pretty darn slow to me at first glance. He\'s probably better than he looked today.

No way Micahel....hes a closing rat with many others waiting on same trip...Inside in the derby..maybe..outside...save the $$

Flach,

it should have been slow as this race was void of speed excpet the 1 and 6. No one gained on either......

Fkach,

The perfect trip/split guys have been trying to solicit heads up bets against DOC since his last race which finished last 4f in an unimaginable 52.39(his last quarter in app 25).That effort was supposed to have knocked him out, ahhh the modern race horse.

I don\'t think he\'s going to make the Derby Tony ...

he has two very strong races imo, and they were both closing into fast fractions, so I can understand your argument.

still, they could not have picked a worse jock for the task at hand, and he will be further from that big top next out, so I\'m keeping an open mind.
