Top o\' the mornin\' to ya! Today I\'m giving my annual salute to the Irish with a slow cooked corned beef dinner. While it\'s bubbling away in it\'s whisky shot and beer chaser brew I thought I\'d try my hand at the Winstar Derby- It\'s not \'till tonight so I have all day to think about it. Any insights for plays would be appreciated! Erin Go Brae!

I\'ve got a soft spot for Poni Colada. I liked his Dad and his Dad\'s trainer.

Silver Charm might have a soft spot for Winsome Charm. His Dad was Charm\'s favorite horse.

Ablaze with Spirit reminds me of that Nirvana song \"Teenage Spirit\"

No Jepordy reminds me of why TGraph has spell check.

Bankers Way reminds me that Republican government is all for corporate welfare but not helping individual citizens.

Capetown Royal looks very well bred to me. But he hasn\'t shown it.

Cape Time also has the Seaside Attraction angle, but i Prefer it with Seeking the Gold.

Deputyville at least has two wins.

Screen to Screen Baffert maiden

Liberty Bull- At least hes been running stakes.

I\'m not sure that helped. 600,000 dollars is a lot of money to get such a spotty group of runners. More evidence to me that this is a down year for the breed.

Am I the only one interested in this race today? I think  6 and 7 could be included in exotics for a price besides the obvious faves- what say you?
