Am I missing something?  I keep reading how slots are supposed to save the quality of racing in NY and NJ.  Well, Delaware and Philadelphia Park have slots, and I don\'t see how racing has improved there.  NJ and NY cards have been pretty poor overall, unless your cup of tea is statebreds sprinting on the grass, and the payoffs, especially at Monmouth, are offering little value.  Actually I\'m enjoying Ellis, the lure of the P4 has worked, and on some Saturdays I\'ll take it over Saratoga.
