FFC odds got down there into no-mans-land where it was hard to play the horse.

But the point of the post was screw whatever it is (supposed to bounce, no works, who did he beat, loose on the lead in last)that might have you troubled over why a certain horse like this is double-digit odds.

JUST BET SOMETHING ON THE FREAKIN HORSE

I can hear Lukas now:

\"I don\'t care what the Graded Stakes Committee says, the Derby Trial was a graded stakes in my book. I\'m entering Flying First Class next weekend, what are they gonna say about it? I have Four Derbies!\"

At first blush it looked like a nice final time to me. Maybe a little slow in the last fraction, but not bad.

Preakness Anyone?

CTMC,
Don\'t think Teufy would have collared Lukas horse today.

I\'m not sure either. FFC is pretty darn quick but one turn quick differs vastly from two turn quick.

UD Ghetto was within 4 lengths though. What to make of that? Track did appear to be getting faster as the day wore on.

One turn quick is correct.

Next stop is the Met Mile carrying about 108.

Nice call Alan! I was in the simulcast room at the Tropicana busy putting a guy all in on my flush and did not have time to go bet. I sent the guy home broke but would have made a few bucks more on your pick. Just a few. :-)
