Just saw the latest future pool odds.  This horse is 38-1.  If he runs back to his last, he won\'t be 38-1 tomorrow.

Excuse me while I extract my foot from my mouth.  If he couldn\'t beat this bunch today he\'s nothing special.  Must have been that Inner golden rail last time.

i thought summer doldrums might run another  big number today , guess i went to the well 1 too many times ... 2 tops or pair at this time of year , at this level , really does and should set up the off effort - maybe summer doldrums  got the bounce out of the way . the winner\'s pattern was interesting and he did have a little more time off in between races than most of the serious compition - that might of helped too .
