1) Neteller Majority Shareholders Arrested--report says they acknowledged
in 2004 disclosures filed prior to IPO that they were involved with illegal activity;

2) Pinnacle withdraws from US market;

3) NYC OTB/ Gulfstream reach settlement after no signal from Hallandale to
NYC OTB for 2 weeks;

4) TVG limps along without being able to show races from Gulf and Santa. Kinda
sad with all their  on air \"talent\", their Wednesday afternoon menu is Aq Inner
and Beulah without the Beulah twinkies. Note with interest that TG seems to have
pulled ads from TVG.

Racing becomes less and less accessible to current fans such as Richiebee, and
has less opportunities to attract and retain a new following; to me,  this
poses a larger problem for Racing than performance enhancing drugs.

Richie,

What\'s the matter can\'t you handle the dark days of Fair Grounds?  On occasion you\'ll get a nice race out of GP but for the most part it\'s the same garbage quality you get everywhere\'s else this time of year. Tampa not fulfilling your needs?

Santa Anita also has it fair share of garbage racing, but the weekends puts on a nice show this year so far. If you have HRTV you have a nice winter but bad bad racing 2/3 the rest of the year.

Whats happening to Oaklawn signal ? Is it shared between the two or di TVG lose that one too?

Lets face it racing is totally disjointed, clueless, has no vision for the future, and continue to live in the nostalgic past. Remember back in the day when the tracks were crowded and everyone was wearing a fedora hat carrying their tele?

Well the hats are gone, the tracks remain the same. In fact you might even find the same TV sets from the 70\'s and 80\'s at many of the tracks around the country. well at least we advanced from the $2 and $5 windows to where you can bet at any window. We should be thankful that technology has come that far.

Hey lets keep feeding these idiots the same crap year after year.

And we worry about what stronach might do to Saratoga.

Nothing to worry about, until they stop coming.

OTOH, since NYRA sold their television rights to TVG I am disinclined to bet the Inner since I can\'t watch it at home.  Have to think there are others who feel the same.  Does the payment from TVG far outstrip the loss in handle?

Mth has done the same thing so next summer will their handle dip?

Richie,

stronach\'s xpressbet is free, and youbet only charges a small fee for the smaller players (free if you bet a few hundred a month i think). both have decent video feeds (although FG seems to be missing from both).

and please,

stop going to NYC OTB\'s.

Michael:

If NYC OTB was my only wagering outlet, believe me there would be very little, if any, wagering.

I have no problems with Brisbet, but the absence of Neteller will make it less convenient.

I expect we\'ll have 40,000 today at Oaklawn in 40 degree temps...

Ill-bred

Oaklawn in on HRTV this year, although it is not an exclusive contract.

Their 5-yr agreement with TVG expired, no new deal in place at press time...
