What a strange race....Big problems with the chalk. Can the slowest horse win? We Can Seek at 30/1 or more!

well, I\'m taking reverberate.  fresh, has run well at the distance.  hard to knock anyone he\'s lost to, and it just seems a strange race as everal have pointed out. No doubt will be a price.

would love to see funny cide return to form - I see Corny is running lots of Tagg\'s horses lately, although Mig rode him well I thought.

Reverberate has the best time by far,but that was when Moby Dick was a tadpole. The best horse by many lengths, using TG is Wanderin Boy,but the danger sign is up for him. I think the fat lady sang for Funny Cide. Good Reward has a medication issue.......NO B        WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

? The turf top at CD was w/o B
Agree re Reverberate, the potential value... another agressive try would be desirable for obvious reasons

Wandering Boy is a very dangerous horse when he gets things the way he likes them. His hole and the level of competition last at Saratoga played against him. Obviously the long run to the first turn at the Big Sandy obviates the stringing issue if he has the form to quick foot early. His main lead contestors are Funny Cide, Take the Bluff and Reverberate.

Funny Cide has the best position, light weight for him, and being in front is how he has scored recently so would not be surprised for him to take the race to the others from the outset. He\'s got the seasoning in tough events and could make it very difficult for the other pressers.

The horse I keep coming back to is Take the Bluff. That last effort was not all that bad even though hes run with lesser. A little improvement and he could fill out some of the exotics at a very nice price in my estimation. He certainly enjoyed his good track tour last time he ran Belmont. (He\'s a scratch)

If I were looking for an off pace animal, you have to take note of Good Reward.

Tough Race

Yeah, was checking changes a short time ago and saw the scratch. The scratch makes it an easier race to project positioning though. Its between Funny and Wandering boy. Reverberate will press/stalk. Also noted he lost a length on weight.

Reverberate will be longest shot on board, which dictates key play in field full of question marks

I\'m not looking at TFigs, so take what I\'m saying with that in mind, but I\'m not all that high on Reverberate. His main claim to fame is that he got beat by Oratory and Flower Alley as a 3YO and though those horses had some nice respective figures that was in restricted class.

He was off since the Travers and his last was not bad, but he\'d have to improve off it to win to my eye. He gets some weight off, but not as much as Santos was given. With 15 minutes to go hes 7-1, same as Awesome Twist who I\'m more concerned about. We Can Seek is 12-1.

not getting 30-1 spa, but even 12-1 sounds fair.

nice close last against the best, but ran out of gas. was probably wheeled back too soon for that though.

nice series of works over six weeks for this one.

can he move fwd a few points here?

i\'ll give it a shot.

Can we now retire FUNNY CIDE???

Good Luck,
