Shanahan-- that\'s where I stayed, and it\'s okay, play the south course if you play only one, though it\'s overpriced. Hope you have a tee time-- the system they have for walk-ons is a mess.

Frank is out there for the whole meet, I suggest sending him a person-to-person on this board for the rest.

One point-- in addition to TG, I strongly recommend getting Racing Digest just for the workout info, especially with maidens. Very strong, helped me a lot-- one example being the 75-1 firster that ran second to a second time starter they also liked. Undoubtedly why the exacta came back short, but still.

Shanahan, if you like seafood, there\'s a reasonably good place called Pacifica Del Mar which is located in the heart of Del Mar at the corner of Camino Del Mar & 15th Street.  Also, it sits on a hill, so you can have a great view of sunset as you eat.

JB is right about the digest.  Their workouts page is really good, especially on the maidens.  Great value for 5 bucks.

Though not a maiden race,  I still remember the huge comments they gave Dare N Go when he beat Cigar.
