This was one of the very few times that I\'ve suggested staying off the inside, and Vlado agreed. I wouldn\'t want to be Court right now--- and we\'ll never know.

Nakatani mentioned on tv that the inside of the track was a little loose.

good point - seem\'s like most horse\'s over there coming under big strectch or late runs have been towards crown - go figure !  SF did good though and the other @ ls , R O M  - not too bad either   ...

So that explains the sudden late courage of Ace Blue.
I was cursing the jock under my breath for going wide on BOTH turns, then jumped ship and started pulling for the 5 horse.
Didn\'t bet bupkis on the 4 to win and \"Vic\" calls him a winner!!
This horse has been running for 3 yrs. w/o a break.Could he be the next Cigar?

Regardless of the inside issue, it was a very game race by Superman. He\'s had some tough luck. He\'s as good as horses that have been beating him. He\'s not gonna overpower them, but with a little luck he certainly could have taken down a big race already, including this last one. Hopefully he stays sound and can score a nice Grade I.

Is it that hard to find a Jockey out there that will follow directions? Bring him East, he likes Belmont and should show well at Saratoga. As if theres really anyplace else to go now.
