Hope some caught 39-1 Rain Shower courtesy of the trainer pattern percentages yesterday..

Vicki Oliver came into the Swamp grass card Monday running 73.2% Tops from her \"3yos 2nd time out\" with 41 starters. Going D2T in her 2nd start (Oliver 19%W, 42% ITM), Rain Shower (15-1 ML) was allowed to leave at 39-1 and was certain to improve off her debut 26.2 against a mixed bag of fillies. Oliver was also clicking with Jose Lezcano: they\'d won the first and 7th already making them 4 of 7 together, and their ROI was $14+...

Lezcano delivered a great ride on the Summer Squall bay ($81/$20/$10), and hooked with the obvious Pletcher Kingmambo firster ($412-$2 EX) and Levine turf bow suspect ($1075-$1 TRI)..

Good job, Kasept.

An interesting day for trainer Oliver, who is the daughter or step daughter of owner breeder G Watts Humphrey.

She was 1/23 for the year going in to yesterday\'s card, and won 3 of the 8 races run at \"the Swamp\".

As my Jesuit friend NCT pointed out last year, COLONIAL puts on some enjoyable betting cards... and that 5PM eastern post time fits right into my work at  night/sleep in the day schedule.

Hate to be unpatriotic, lads and lassies, but I am contemplating making a rather large wager on the ghuys from Ghana on Thursday.

Steve,

What you didn\'t say was that you hit it!! By inference I think you hit it, I hope you did!!!

I will be heading to colonial for the next couple of Weekends. This Saturday they have a 14 horse field with 3 AE\"s going for the $1Million Colonial Cup (not Graded Yet). Some intersting Runners show up like \"Showing Up\", Lewis Michael, and other Pletcher/Mott/Dutrow runners. Should be a very intersting race to bet with 14 runners.

In fact DRF already has the Saturday Card, was hoping TG could get sheets out early so I can go to town capping a little early....

NCT,

Giving it out to 10,000 listeners on \"ATRAB\" was even BETTER than hitting it!!
Hope to get to CNL next weekend too.. Will be my only chance.

Re: CNL CUP, Talked to Sciacca this a.m. and am eager for the figs on his Prime Diamond. Plucked for 16 dimes and suddenly a turf tiger last pair, this Gumpster Stable state bred may be right on time Saturday: at least as exotic fodder.

Working great; a winner on \'fm\' and \'yl\'and gets Ramon who guided him to his diploma.. Will be boxcars..

I\'d be a little leery of Ghana, what with coming in off a huge new top and short rest.
