Lost in the Fog goes against 3 unknown horses in a Northern California NHRA event and why not? Why race against the best sprinters in the top events when you can start another \"I beat no one\" winning streak, earn padded speed figures and get the inept voters that cover this sport to consider you the elite quick stepper.

Come to the Met Mile Foggy. At least try to be a horse.

Worst champion I\'ve ever seen.

The Met Mile is at a mile, Jimmy (hence the name).  Eight \"marks\" is not a sprint.  Although the horses in against him today may be unknown to you, one of them has 108 & 105 Beyers in his last two races  This year will determine how good Lost In The Fog is.

First off, you aren\'t really quoting Beyers for how good the competition out there is are you? Not really?

Secondly, any decent horse can rip off six panels. Lost in the Fog has not even done that in top company, but the test of excellence for the sprint sect is the one turn mile. A top flight sprinter should have the goods to get a one turn eight marks, and configured in that manner it is essentially a major league sprint. I won\'t bore anyone with the history of it.

Who knows, maybe they plan the Met Mile for their second start of the year. :)

\"the test of excellence for the sprint sect is the one turn mile\".  Nothing I say could condemn you more than that ludicrous statement.  And if Lost In The Fog runs in the Met Mile, Peter Pan\'s a sailor.

On to more timely matters.  I like Showing Up.  I had him in his maiden win which was impressive.  His allowance win was even more impressive.  Why isn\'t Javier Castellano riding him?

What I read is the following: when Showing Up was supposed to go in the Wood, Castellano was booked to ride elsewhere (I think Corinthian), so Tagg went to Cornelio.  When all of that fell apart, Tagg decided to stay with Cornelio for this race rather than keep changing jocks.

Are you starting another \"idiotic comments\" streak??

We\'ve discussed his campaign from last year already.

Worst poster I\'ve ever read.

Lets end this tirade, (Not Mine), by stating that Lost in the Fog has still not beat a decent horse.

This year, I\'m asking the writers to scrutinize and select truly deserving and class accomplished horses.

Sophomore spints are not the stuff of greatness.

I consider this matter closed, but reserve the right to continue to badmouth that gutless wonder. Am I talking about the horse?

Again, they didn\'t sneak into town to run in those races last year. He criss crossed the country to run in Graded stakes at Belmont, Saratoga, and Calder.  Not exactly second tier tracks. As for the decent horse thing, what are they supposed to do?? You would do the same thing.

He got whipped yesterday in his season debut. Lots of reasons to not expect his best effort, he lost to a track lover that ran well. But a loss is a loss.  Lets wait until he runs a few more races before we rush to judgment.

Will you be this critical of Too Much Bling when he continues to run in 3YO races exclusively??

As for the gutless wonder comment. Whatever. Wouldn\'t a gutless wonder throw out that kind of ambiguous accusation because they are too gutless to come right out and say it??

Chuckles, you have a lot of knowledge and some very interesting posts.  But you can really come off like a jerk sometimes.
