That was a good horse that won. But lets not forget he won in his backyard and had a lot breaks going for him. Those that included him there, might be inclined to outright dismiss him here. Like Silver said, lets just hope theres a rematch.

You had to be worried about Super Frolic fairing so poorly in his last race and going through the process to get there. Hope he\'s sound and nice sporting attempt.

Brass Hat was the American form key to that race. Congrates to Bradley, that was a nice payday in defeat. And double congrats to Wilko, who made that race.

The horses that ran 1-2 were no brainers. But its clear Super did not run his A race. Doesn\'t look like he got close to his B race either. Wilko was cycling in the right direction and Ro Parra got a little morale booster if the DRF is correct in naming him as Wilko\'s breeder.

before the race you were very high on super frolic, said that he \"only had one horse to be concerned about\". clown, you did not include the winner in that group of one. now, after the race, you claim that winner was a \"no-brainer\". if one without a brain could come up with that winner, how is it that you did not even think he had a chance?

the winner was on his home court, a big advantage. the winner also broke a bit slow, giving up some of that advantage. the winner just ran a negative \"1\" on march 2, and most likely topped that # today. the winner, while he was on his home course, is a great horse. it\'s a \"no-brainer\", don\'t you think clown?

doesn\'t matter if i had the tri. i posted pre-race, picking out one horse as the key - the winner. i did it to start a TG handicapping discussion, pre or post race.

you posted pre race, saying that you liked super frolic and saying he only had to be concerned with one horse, brass hat. you were wrong, and your post race post was off base. what don\'t you get?

Michael, I think I see your indignation. You had the insight to actually call the winner pre race as the winner. Perhaps you didn\'t receive as much acknowledgement for that feat as you would like. Let me set that oversight straight...Congrats.

There were only three possible winners of this race. It appears you focused upon the lowest price horse of those three. One of those three was Super Frolic at much higher odds. There was a downside to betting Super Frolic, you had to look past a very questionable last effort. Regardless, making the race pay did not involve selecting Electrocutionist as winner unless you keyed him on top and pounded the exotics and thats why I asked how many times you had the Trifecta.

I never said a single negative word about Electro as I\'m sure you will acknowledge that I usually do with vunerable favorites. The reason was Electro was a very solid horse and on his home turf and he was one of the biggest no brainers I\'ve recently seen. Nevertheless, you had the acumen to call him out. You da man. How many times did you have that Trifecta?

after stating pre race that super frolic was your horse, and that his only possible challenge could come from brass hat, then stating post race that having the winner was a \"no-brainer\", i think you would want to just end this. no?

as wrong as you were, it\'s not about being right or wrong. i was two for two today, and i will most likely be zero for two next time. i have been wrong plenty of times on this board. it\'s about handicapping using TG, and about posting at least somewhat realistic posts once these races are over.

I myself have never thought Super Frolic was much of a race horse. Big deal he ran 4th in the classic, Saimt Liam, Flower Ally and Perfect Drift were the best horses in that race and it showed. Anything after that was a toss because to me they were all grade three horses at best.

However, that post was before Alan chimed in late last night with the TFig implication on Electrocutionist. Prior to that, all I had to judge him on were Timeform ratings, (which I don\'t trust as much as American Speed Figures.) On Timeform however he was clearly a standout. FYI any Timeform rating of 125 or more is considered elite. And Electrocutionist had 3 Timeform ratings of 125+

After my post quoted by you above, Alan chimed in late last night with implied TFig speed on Electrocutionist that made him top three. His actually speed was not mentioned but primacy use of the language indicated he was top three and I\'m sure this will be confirmed in the Red Board Room tomorrow.

Additionally, I have an on again, off again relationship with some very good speed figure handicappers and in discussions the last two nights they convinced me the Timeform ratings were accurate for Electro.

Lastly, He\'d already accomplished it upon the track, as his breeding projected he would. He\'s a good horse, but I hope he comes here.

Dubya, I\'m sure you are aware of the number of times I\'ve not been shy about pointing out false favorites. High Limit, Bellamy Road, Leroidesanimeaux, Lost in the Fog, just to name a few. You say I love my voice and am not shy and there may be some truth to that. Do you really think I\'d miss a chance to lambast an Even Money horse in a big race?
