The ROTW is a tremendous betting race on a tremendous card for wagering.

I looked at this race for a long time earlier today.

I have to agree with the ROTW analysis the #6 Lucky Chief is the value in this race and perhaps the most likely winner.  I feel he can only get better with a distance.  His last race was on a track in which had taken a tropical storm the night before and rains that day.  The #2 Bacetto is an intriging prospect as he from polytrack to Calder.  I don\'t read a bounce here as the ROTW does.  May not win but may get a piece as his mother won the CCA Oaks and the Honey Bee at the Big M.

As for the favorite, #7 In Summeration goes for the sweep.  He\'ll be a real short price in a race where he has to maintain his off track races to win.  He is not really bred for the two turns and may not get a great trip in this field which should be run on a fast main track.  If Cruz sends he may be parked and if he rates he may be wide and still out kicked by others.  He can win but he has to do something many haven\'t which is to sweep and at 4/5 or 3/5 your not going to get to much.  Speaking of being overbet I feel Cab and Blazing Rate also fall into this category.  Most of the time and I emphasize MOST, Bailey is way overbet at Calder and I don\'t think he has a great horse to begin with.  Blazing Rate can win here with a cleaner trip but I just don\'t see it.

If I\'m having a good day I may split win bets between the #2 and #6.  If not I will probably pass as I really don\'t feel strong enough to just split a wager on these two.

Some other horses I like Saturday:

Race 9 Keeneland #6 Three Degrees
Race 9 Oak Tree #2 Eastern Sand

SC, I hope to run into you tommarow if you are attending.  I know Brooklyn Steve is actively awaiting the 10th at Calder.
