I am looking for facts and figures of the TB race tracks with the largest numbers of horses that bread down in a year.
If anyone has these figures please e mail me or post.
I think Charles Town races in WV has the largest but I need to know some more information.

thanks all for any response

I don\'t know that anyone keeps those statistics. I\'m sure the tracks montior them to some extent, but thats \"bad news information\", it\'s probably not gonna be provided to the public easily.

They can hide behind the variables. \"What constitutes a breakdown?\"

A fatal breakdown?
Whats a fatal breakdown?
A put down on the track or a put down 6 months later from consequent laminitis?
A did not finish, DNF, ?
A ran his last race?

Lots of grey in there. Charleston runs cheaper horses so logically I\'d assume they have more go bad. Is it true? I dont know.
