Good link Saddlecloth. Sure looks like NYRA is doing the responsible thing to me. I like the idea that a violation results in automatic stall security. I imagine video cameras which is sufficient in my estimation.

Kentucky responded by saying the following re: the rebate shops:

\"On Saturday, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association asked U.S. racetracks to review their relationships with rebate shops. Officials at the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, owner and operator of The Meadowlands and Monmouth Park, have already said they would cut off the shops named in the indictment. On Tuesday, a spokesperson for Churchill Downs said the company, which owns six racetracks, would respond to the NTRA statement on Wednesday\"

Think Churchill Downs will be just as principled on the Bet Shops? Or the Milkshake testing? I like Kentuckys race tracks, but I don\'t trust Kentuckians involved in racing. Cheating was born and is condoned there if you ask me. Maybe I\'m being overly skeptical. Lets see what they say.

Well there are certain trainers, and well all know who they are, always move up when they get to the bluegrass.  are they cheating or is it kentuckys liberal drug policies, probably a bit of both.  Either way, I wonder statistically how many trainers achieve their stables top figures there.
