I really like Perfect Drift in the Classic. He is coming in much better to the race than he did last year. This is a horse who has put up a -3 in the past. Don\'t know if he can win, but he is a must use for me. I think Jerry is off on him. He fits the profile, a)can run the # and b)nobody\'s talking about him. The other price I like in here is Dynever.

I think I disagree with Hollywood story the most. I will use in the exotics but he does not make sense to me. Ashado might react but my gut tells me he is the play in the one and two whole in the exotics.

I am playing the turf races even though either a) chalk will win or b)horses jump that don\'t figure

Boy, do I want to toss Cajun Beat but I just can\'t.

Trying to search for the horses nobody mentions. They always win don\'t they.

Lastly, who does Beyer like, I will toss every selection which will help my cause.

I read the transcript and Beyer really likes Dance Away Capote.

The pattern on Perfect Drift isn\'t bad, but comparing his numbers this year to last year it seems clear that he\'s declined and I have burned enough money on this horse.  At a big price, he might make the third spot on my tri ticket, assuming I play against GZap instead of passing.  HP

Just a reminder that Beyer did select Cajun Beat in the Sprint last year and he paid around $45.  But why can\'t you toss him this year?

Tony

I don\'t like the long layoff to a two. He can go either way second off the layoff and who knows if Frankel will get his horses to run. Hard to toss last years winner with Frankel.

HP,

I made the mistake not playing against sightseek last year. Did that horse look like he had to fall down not to finish first or second? GZ might win by 20 lengths but I will refer back to best lesson I ever learned back in 2001. The Point Given fiasco. He had the perfect line coming in to the Derby. The night before I was laughing with my buddy saying \"imagine this horse is out of the super, you can back up the brinks truck\" Believe me, I was not laughing after the race.

Anyone look at a real bomber in the Sprint??

With SPEIGHTSTOWN breaking from the rail and CUVEE from the 10 hole, I think a torrid duel is inevitable. Throw in the early speed of ABBONDANZA and GOLD STORM and can anyone see any horse in here getting clear??

With that being said, check Jerry\'s sheet on MY COUSIN MATT all the way back to the last time he sprinted after a turf race (Saratoga in 2002). He runs a new top ( 1\') as a 3yo in the summer.

I know this is a stab in the dark, but there are too many holes in this race to ignore this angle and MCM will be 50-1.

Heck, I just need him to run 2nd.

Good Luck,
Joe B.
