Winning everywhere.

His win and percentages are reasonable but Churchill now Saratogs and others the guy is all over the place. That winner in the last was freakish good. (Had Weaver 3rd at 10-1, not redboarding)  Tomorrow he has Nitrogen and in the 1st has a KnicksGo 2YO who cost $585,000 by a $12,500 Sire. I guess he blew out big at the OBS.

The Kelso is a great race and tjere Casse is with \"Win for the Money\". Freshened since January amd enough back 2-s and 3\'s he could make some noise in a really good betting race

Happy 4th Everyone!!!

How long can a hot streak last? Virtually impossible to time so I hope the Saratoga weather stays nice for the day.

In the 1st, Casse sends Ewing the Knicks Go colt whose stud fee is $12,500. This one is the m/l favorite Casse\'s hot streak and auction price surely play a part of that. To be ridden by Jose Ortiz I\'m leaning toward an exacta.

on the other hand we have brother Irad Ortiz aboard

Pletcher trained Repole owned Japanese bred colt from Drefong with a $30k stud fee. This one only auctioned off @ $311k but worked third fastest of 144 and c/b twice the price.

*****- Pletcher scratches and Casse currently at 1 to 2.****

In the Kelso (Only a mile) Casse\'s Win The Money defending Woodbine Mile champ attended what seems to me to have been a stupid fast pace for 1+1/8 at GP in his last out (in Jan) and stayed on pretty well. But he figures to be the slowest finisher in this group so looks like catch me if you can. And the group includes a couple Euro immigrants.

Anecdotally, I did not agree with your statement.  Off the top of my head, Americathegreat didn\'t run a step in the Debutante at CD at a low price and the Schylurville runner didn\'t win at low odds stretching to 6f on dirt.

I did wager on the horse in the closing race on Friday during my 2 day Thurs-Fri stint at Saratoga.  I saw the horse as a likely lone speed type and while the horse ran a hole in the wind (109 Beyer), there was reason to think the horse was a likely winner.  (Not a Red Board as that was the only decent ticket I cashed the two days as I found the wagering very difficult until that point and lost overall for the 2 days).  Classic Q was also a lone front running winner on the turf that some think has a decided edge to speed (maybe only the inner turf) the past few days holding off two Chad\'s.  He also won the Penn Mile. And Nitrogen lost while Ewing won and another maiden with fast works didn\'t win on yesterday\'s Sar card.

So I looked it up and here ya go.

The past 14 days:

Overall, 15 for 71
Kentucky, 1 for 13  (Hmmmm....)
NYRA Circuit, 3 for 13
Turf Only, 6 for 33

15 for 71 is over 21%. Against the best competition in the Country. He is 3 for 11 this Saratoga Meet with 9 of those 11 in the money.

He was 9 for 62 at Churchill and was very solid during the Saratoga Belmont short meet. I dont look at what someone did the last 2 hours or 2 minutes and use that as a key indicator of what he is about to do next. More like 2 months. He is currently 36 for 155 at Woodbine. A solid 23%. And over 50 more Starters than the next closest Trainer. 50+!!!

I have him at 52 out of 244 the last 10 weeks counting Woodbine. Or 21.3%
Also he is 9 for 103 at Gulfsteam with 18 2nds and 11 3rds. Only 3 Trainers have more Starters than he does.

Cox, Pletcher, Brown, Assmussen and many others are no where to be found at Woodbine. With only Pletcher still running (and quite well at GP).

The guy is running 35 horses a week the last 10 weeks. (GP stretches a little longer) winning 7 races a week. At 4 distinctly different venues (Gulfatream, Churchill, Saratoga, Woodbine) on 2 different continents. I rest my case!

Two different continents?

Lol. Nice Catch. Two different Countries.

Boscar Obarra

Thought he lit up last year . So this year is just a continuation.
He was huge at SAR in 24, with some good prices

Ward at NYRA this year  makes him look feeble . If it was a low profile trainer, they would be yelling and screaming.

Silver Charm

He won 2 on Sunday at Woodbine. This Saturday he has 21 horses entered. Yes 21

7-Saratoga
1-Ellis
2-Colonial
11-Woodbine yes 11
