Since it\'s been quiet on here, I was wondering if the board has an opinion on this race at GP this week.

Looks at first blush like a romp for R Harper Rose, who has 4 wins and second over this track - and that includes a win in the Forward Gal over the next out upset winner of the Davona Dale.  The Forward Gal went in about the same time as the colts in the Swale - the top three of which went on to place in graded stakes next out. She will take most of the money.

But I think she might be vulnerable.  Odd to me that Saffie Joseph is also sending out Candy Gray in this spot, off a long layoff.  Broke her maiden by 9 lengths in that, and has been working crazy good in the last month. The show horse who finished 17 lengths in arrears in that maiden has come back to win two at Tampa.  Irad is up.

Then there\'s Delgado\'s horse Launch, who the connections thought enough of to run in 4 graded stakes in Europe, including the Queen Mary. 2 wins and a second since  moving stateside and the switch to dirt - the second was a good effort against Into Champagne, the 1/2 length bridesmaid in the DD.

Finally, there\'s the $375K Amor Fati, who broke her maiden last out by 5 1/2 under \"a mild drive\".  A Liam\'s Map out of a Street Sense mare, she threw down a huge work in preparation for this.

After watching the video replay\'s of both of trainer Saffie Joseph\'s entrants. I can opine that he has a strong hand in this race.

Both of these fillies can be expected to handle the additional furlong sans a bounce. R Harper Rose couldn\'t have been more professional and seeming;y within herself. She got out quickly and went neck and neck with an impressive competitor (Fiona\'s Magic) before just taking charge by several lengths on the outside of the turn. Very impressive in a workman-like dominant effort.

However, Saffie\'s other Filly Candy Grey is a can\'t-miss Light Grey almost white visually striking filly. Looked and went faster by the clock. She just flat-out ran away and hid from her maiden competitors. I\'m not surprised she turned in a couple of fast workouts she is sensationally fast. She never let up in her debut and appeared to run hard through the wire. That race may have taken something out of her consequentially a long rest could make sense.

My opinion, without checking any other entrant yet. Jockey Zayas best not go with the Irad-ridden Candy Gray. Such a strategy could ruin the race for one or both. Saffie\'s race to lose!

After realizing up-and-comer Brittany Russell also entered a Cha Cha Muldowney dragster Mr. Joseph is not a lock either to win or as an exacta.

Yep, another interesting race.Khozan, Twirling Candy, Liam\'s Map or Omaha Beach which sire c/b best at 7F. I\'m thinking toss the race favorite.
