Jerry,

I don\'t get this week\'s ROTW at all.  For the last 6-8 weeks, none of the opinions have worked out, but at least there were opinions.  I looked at the sheets and read your comments and for the life of me, can\'t figure out what your point is with this race.

The 5-2 could win or finish off the board.

The 6-1, 9-2, 6-1 and 8-1 shots have a shot to be in the mix.

The two 20-1\'s, 15-1, an 8-1 and 6-1 are not contenders.

???

No matter what happens this week, I can\'t post that the ROTW was off the mark.

What am I missing?

JimP

What\'s missing is your analysis of the race. Post it for us.

Silver Charm

I agree and well before Post Time.

This will give everyone time to review and (agree or rebut) this particular opinion also.

HP

If Excess Summer takes the money, I would bet against him.

In the ROTW, it\'s pointed out that he\'s run the fastest numbers, but he seems to lose something going over a mile (his route numbers are SUBSTANTIALLY SLOWER than many of these).  Also, the ROTW points out the ROI on Mullins second out, but they don\'t really run a lot of tops according to the TG data.

I would probably box Yougottawanna, Anzian Royalty and Calkins Road.  Good luck to all.  HP

TGJB

It was very slim pickings for choice of ROTW this week-- few big races, little to talk about in those. I hated every stake I looked at with the exception of o 2yo stake, and there was almost nothing to discuss in that one.

What the hell,

I\'ll take a shot with Calkins Road ran a solid race in last at SR.  Seems to come along in a similar way in the way that he won this races 02 edition.  Douglas aboard 6/1 M/L.

Win and Place for me, no Gimmicks.

Good Luck,
