Flight line will get about 12 points better than Stiletto Boy.

Haven\'t been  following this one, but after watching the Malibu.... damn.

Has the SIZE too . never asked. not even once.

PS  Watching his other two cakewalks, its fair to say he\'s never been set down in any of his races.   Wonder what you get if they ask him to run.

For some/most of us (out here in the fog), your comment is again a puzzle. Thanks for that. So I\'ll interpret it to mean Stilletto Bay went back to his comfort zone of say 4.

Baby Yoda moved back in the direction of his Top although probably more like 3 than -3. A good ride to preserve some energy by not trying to go with the PHENOM.

The remaining bunch may have just walked because I don\'t recall ever seeing them in the video. I\'ll note #6 Team Merchants who ran a credible 5/8\'s prior to dropping anchor.

Meaning the winner gets a new top and maybe a new record.

or I\'m nowhere near the answer to your riddle - Master?

Beaten lengths I saw that night were wrong, the figure won't be as insane as I thought.

I never had a horse this good. Very few have. But, waiting 6 months to run him again either means he is fragile or possibly the many owners (including a few breeders) just want him to crush whenever he runs. If the latter is true, a terrible decision in my opinion. If he is a monster like he appears to be and Sadler wants \"to be fair to the horse\" -- of course he isn\'t calling the shots  (comparing him to Lebron) then unleash him throughout the year.

Or else he is just a fragile monster and people breeding their mares BEWARE.

Sadler said his plan is to run him four more times this year - with an eye towards the Met Mile.

TGJB

I could give you a pretty good list of fragile racehorses that became top stallions...

Negative -11 ?
Who thinks that is the figure Flightline earned?
Over or under -11?

Strike

Sadler said his next race will be Met Mile in June in 6 months. Of course, they can change their minds and run him sooner but right now that is the plan. Doing the 6 month between races that he has been on since Day 1 -- maybe Met Mile and then a BC race.

As for good fragile stallions, I agree. I just don\'t understand the kid gloves approach or as a fan, frankly like it. If he needs 6 months between races -- fine. If it is just an ego trip for owners -- not so much.

Hoist The Flag, Kris S, Raise A Native, Hail To Reason, Danzig.... for whatever reason their progeny were sounder than they were.

Just loved reading this list!  Awesome just thinking about those horses.  Don\'t want to be morbid/skunk at the party -- but the contra that is sitting out there is Reviewer -- he three times had cannon bone fractures -- died of a broken leg at age 11 -- but was a very good sire -- leading progeny -- Ruffian

Before the race, I thought 2nd place finisher Baby Yoda would circle back to a 3-ish. And the eventual third-place finisher, Stiletto Boy, having paired 2's, would also run a 3-ish, backing up slightly. Dr. Schivel tubed, so he can't be used for interpolation purposes.

After the race, my immediate thought was Flightline paired his -5. It was visually impressive. But since Flightline won by 12 lengths (or 6 ThoroGraph points?), then I'd guess Flightline ran a -3-ish. A 3.5?

If you think Flightline went forward (gulp) here, that means that Mott's horse zoomed forward big time to a negative number. And to me, that\'s hard to believe. He likely went forward somewhat, but not too much. To me, the key is that the third place finisher ran a 3.5 or thereabouts.

Looking forward to seeing how Jerry rates it.

TGJB

Won by about 8 TG points, not 6.

When I first looked quickly that night I though it was another 6 lengths back to Stiletto and I was gonna have to give him a minus 10.

TGJB

Ended up pairing up both him and Stiletto.
