ESPN has shown the \"transaction\" a couple of times already this week. Here\'s your opportunity to tape it (the gallop out after the wire)and judge for yourselves.

HP

I\'ve seen it. Who helped him in the Belmont and the other races? Come on, Mark, this isn\'t right. HP

I saw Stevens hand Day a Bible. Mark, think of the people involved. The horse got a great trip and ran his race, and he beat them like a gong several times afterwards. I repeat, come on, this is beneath you. HP

Chris,

Monarchos went wide on the second turn not the first. Yet he broke from 16 and was all alone on the first turn.  If you like a closer you just have to accept he will go wide on the second turn and will need a better number than the rest to win (and luck).  You have to factor it in the price.  Post position matters squat to me.

With a stalker/speedster I would be more worried about post position.  But as you said trainers will avoid the inside like the plague so who\'s right ?

TGJB

I fought it tooth and nail, and again when he was put back on for the Travers. Big deal- it only cost them 5 or 10 million.

Not too far off from JB\'s look on the race. It\'s really not that tough of a race this year.

MO

Kevin,

Not sure who you were adressing, but I swear, I have not seen JB\'s analysis.
