is anyone with me on this guy?  I would not have picked him 4 days ago...however, JB enlightened me with the statement \"I don\'t pay attention to class\".  I must tell you I about fell out of my chair when I read that...but winning yesterdays pik 4 - without paying any attn to class - did not suck.  In fact, it not only paid for my trip up to Saratoga in 2 weeks, it let me stay another 4 days!  JB - I gotta meet you in person.
However, that creates a dilemma for me on the class thing...it is Pletcher\'s horse in the 7th, # 3...what is your guys take on horses in general stepping up to winners, and Pletch does OK personally (no positive ROI as I recall), but decent %...

horses that step up to winners get beat a lot because they\'re generally racing against faster horses than they used to, and they probably just came off a top, or an effort (the winning race), which might set them up for something less than their best.
this is only a very general statement, of course, of the average --- there are going to be plenty of animals that are plenty fast enough to keep winning, or just continue to improve, catch weak fields, etc.
class has nothing to do w/it.

pletcher could be the example of a horse who just popped a good one, and will react, or he might be the very talented and lightly raced type who has plenty left and will keep on cruising.
because that last on the stretch was so good, and he\'s only got the 3 weeks, I\'d lean towards the former.
there\'s some pretty good ones in there --- not sure which way I\'m going yet, but I might actually try to get chelyan in the tri.

edit:
on second look, a slight reaction, on the rail, might win this if the other fast ones don\'t bring their best --- I don\'t think I\'d make this one my rotw.
