Recalling mjellish post about Pletcher\'s change in tactics in the Belmont and the thought that Tapwrit could be sent early.

Thinking JV tries for it with Patch.

Good Luck,

Connections of Meantime are now pretty much on record as trying to steal it.

From that draw maybe they\'ll try to send with Epicharis too? I\'m not an expert on pace projections, but horse seems to enjoy a steady gallop on the front end.

From IWC I think I would like to see a similar set-up as in the Wood Memorial, my feeling is he\'s best if he doesn\'t have to go too fast early, a close-up stalking position behind two \"slow\" duelling leaders seems ideal.

Twisted Tom and Tapwrit project for trips saving ground in behind the group of four up front(Gormley,Meantime,IWC,and Epicharis)

Epicharis has a race two back where he sat tucked in behind horses.
Gormley sat behind horses his last two.
If either of those two are sent this pace could be fast.

Patch trying to get the lead from the outside would make for a fast pace.
I guess Pletcher could send Tapwrit from the inside like Dunkirk in 2009 but it appears there will be enough pace with Meantime, maybe IWC where they wouldn\'t need to.

With regards to Gormley, according to the report linked by Furious, he was treated for dehydration upon arriving at Belmont.

Everyone knows I am all about patterns. Gormley is moving forward based on TG, backward according to Beyer.
