is hence being overlooked? not touting just asking board cause u guys follow more than me. thanks for opinions

Go back and look at Commanding Curves sheet :)

TG\'s archives a good place to start looking.

For what it\'s worth, I take an extra look at any horse that had a dominating win as a 2yo, especially going 7f or more. Seems to be a common thread among Derby winners.

Good Luck,

Just happened to look at Conquest Mo Money in the Arkansas Derby (runner up to Hence last out).  This horse has got to be an interesting story....a $180k NY Bred as a yearling, gets sold as an unraced 2yo in Nov of its 2yo year in the Conquest dispersal for all of $8,500.  Horse has raced exclusively around 2 turns, and made $300k already this year with 3 wins and a second (to Hence).  Don\'t know much about Hence, but I think CMM is live at a big price in Hot Springs tomorrow!

Hence sheet reminds me of Golden Soul.
This horse is gaining popularity and is training nicely at the Downs.

RICH

frank says commanding curve and you say golden soul, big difference in those 2 sheets. I guess we will see soon

I look at it like this.
Hence had 3 races as a 3 year old so did GS
Hence as a 3 year old ran a 9,7,3
GS ran a 8,7,5
Curve ran twice as a 3 year old prior to the Derby he last 3 figures were 5,5,2
Curve paired and moved forward Hence & GS both have steady moves forward.
That\'s how I see it.
If Hence odds are anything close to those 2 and finishes in the $$ I know I won\'t care who\'s sheet he resembles.
Good luck

Johnny,

Your neglecting GS 3 point bounce after his 2 yr old 5 to the 8 1st out as a 3 yr old. Hence and CC never bounced.

johnnym

Valid Point.
I was looking more at the 3 year old pattern.

TGJB -

If understand correctly, the italics for the Sunland Derby ground indicate that it was done by computer, not by someone watching the replay.  Given that two or three horses from that race are likely to wind up in the Derby, have you considered reviewing the ground?

TGJB

I think we already did, I\'ll find out this week.

Sounds like Hence had another solid work this AM.

The BSF for Hence in the Sunland Derby has been updated:93 to 97 now

TGAB

The ground info shown for the Sunland Derby is LIVE. Forgot to check the box denoting it as such, hence the italics. That\'s been been corrected.
