Without seeing the sheets for each of these runners to know if they would be competitive in these spots I\'m not sure how much these results really tell you.

Bet Twice,

While what you said is true, 0 for 9 in the money speaks enough.

Betting the dead rail horses back has been awful.  After the first few missed, a number of posters started pointing to specific others that hadn\'t run yet saying \"this is the one that will really show us\" and every one of the \"this is the ones\" has been bad.

Not sure why.  In looking at the charts, I can\'t disagree that the rail seemed dead.  But this is easily the worst set of results that I can remember betting back those type horses.

Jimbo:
I can contribute to this by keying Conquest T tomorrow. Then we\'ll be 0-10.

BTW: I think International Star has a big shot tomorrow in the Foster so you may want to avoid him as well.
Just been that kind of year so far.

Good Luck,

Exactly. I followed a few of these and found them in over their heads despite forgiveness for the dead rail. They just weren\'t going to win.

Molesap, can you post a recap of the dead rail horses? I think almost all have run back, and I think the results are ofer all. I suppose there as many reasons as there were run backs as to why there were no winners, but I thought a couple were attractive enough to bet. Angle plays are beguiling, but as we all know, not necessarily golden.

There are a number of those same horse entered for their second race back (third or fourth back for Copingaway of course). Maybe the number patterns and odds will look good for some of these.
