Under for the limit, and let me know what the new line is.

Topcat

\"Under\", here, may not be the ideal reference term, under the circumstances? Do we mean faster -- or slower?

joemama

Assuming that under means faster and over means slower, then I\'d go with the over.

johnnym

Sorry for the bad wording.
Faster or Slower than 46 3/5

Impossible to predict with a 20 horse gate. Who thought Shackleford would go :48?

For me, DC would have to be in the 25-1 or better range to prove that he can get a 1 1/4 doing all the work. Who looked better than Dortmund winning the SA Derby last year and going into the far turn at CD after a :47 and change?

Takes a special kind.

The horses that finished ahead of Dortmund had to run a -3 and a -1.

Not saying DC or Outwork is capable of running their tops in the Derby but if either runs the 1 saving ground you feel really good about a horse in the field firing a 0 or better?

Firing Line was in off a pair of 1\'s
AP 1\'s and a -1

None of these horses have put two fast ones together yet.

I don\'t think DC or Outwork could have warmed up a horse like Dortmund this time last year.
Don\'t think anyone in this field is firing a 0 or better nor do I think DC or Outwork are running a 1. Too much too soon.

Agree none of the horses this year have the class of last years bunch.
Nyquist would of been what betting choice last year?
A thought, any chance Nyquist did not like the track at Gulfstream on Fl Derby day?
