Gee, no one gave me the word, what was the parlay?

\"But Preciado is not going quietly. On Sunday and Monday at Parx, Preciado won all seven races in which he had a starter. \"

Did Oscar leave on such a high note? Damn. In your face.

So his assistant runs the stable for a while. No penalty at all.

Oscar went out with a whimper. Last winner was Final Road and then he lost about 80 in a row if memory serves.

If this was it for RP, he goes out a winner.

Ran 2 in the PARX nightcap. Que Facil was 5th of 7 at 9/2. Your 9/10 winner was the aptly-named No Returns, by Put it Back, out of Hot Canary.

I remember Harvey Pack semi-joking about Oscar\'s \"magic\", and the ensuing cold streak, at a DRF Handicapping Expo awhile back:

"Oscar Barrera won everything in sight, and I went into Jerry McKeon, who was president of NYRA, and I said, 'The trainers, they're being discouraged, they see Oscar doing this.' I said, 'What, you think he's that much better?'

And he said, 'Well, he may be the best trainer that ever lived.'

And when he went 0 for 98, I went in to Jerry and I said, 'Imagine, he woke up one morning and forgot how to train.'"

Oscar had some Oriental kid , I forget his name, that handled his castoffs in NJ and I imagine other places.  I once asked him if he knew anything, and he said no.

 I wasn\'t shocked.
