The welcome wagon was rolled out for Richiebee yesterday and we had a nice relaxing afternoon in the back yard. Uncle Bill and Warren had our territory marked with their NY Giants chairs when we arrived and Warren a non poster but long time seminar and Spa regular killed em yesterday. He grabbed the $372 exacta in the 3rd and went on a roll of hitting rolling doubles from races 3-9. If he was a pick 6 player he could have taken down the whole enchilada yesterday. Richie banged out a nice double with Pure Sensation (our pick 4 single) and Matterhorn, I got a small double with Gangster (2 routing on the Dams side, 2/1 first out) and put up with the DQ in the 6th. A legitimate DQ as Global Strike certainly cost the 8 horse 2nd place. Maybe we have found the only consistency in the stewards stand that they will follow the rules of racing taking down a winner who cost the interfered with horse a placing?

Paco got hung out in the first turn of the 2nd race 4W at 31/1 and my expensive Tiznow didn\'t run a step at 35/1. Both Richie and I were alive in the pick 4 with the Ward horse who was only coming back in the pick 4 2/1 off a $153 pick 3, thought we were a lock, I had savers with 2,5,11, so what else is new last leg, 4 shots NO CASH!!!

A few sprinkles this morning and a chance of something coming through this afternoon, oh well that\'s the Spa this time of year. A good crowd yesterday probably in the 20K plus range and north of 30K for sure today real people.

The late pick 4 is not very enticing today with a 4 horse Jim Dandy, Salutos and Rock Fall looking like the race in the Vanderbilt at short prices.

In the Amsterdam I\'m all over the March/Requite exacta while the 3rd race has Delta Outlaw moving in the correct direction, Knuckle Curve can bounce and still win so we\'ll make that exacta. In the 2nd race Sticksstatelydude looks difficult to go past so we\'ll put him over the 1,3,10 in tri\'s and supers.

Bandit Beau is in town with his wife for their yearly Spa voyage, he stopped by to say hello yesterday, Rocky and Sean have their chairs packed for today and Rezlegal is up today as well. No Michael D. sightings as yet?

I put a gag order on NYRA bashing at the beginning of the meet; BUT!!!
As I was leaving the track yesterday I stopped by not 1, not 2 BUT 3 different stands trying to buy todays racing form, SOLD OUT, in 43 years of going to tracks all over the country I\'ve never walked out of a race track where you couldn\'t buy the next days form. REALLY guys come on!

Good luck to all today,

Frank D.

Good Luck today Frank.

I\'ll play your Spa 3rd race suggestions, about to head out to the ocean for a bit.  Beautiful weather down here in San Diego, maybe we can talk some Sunday Del Mar later.

Good luck to all of you guys.
