velazquez again..... on saturday, he guided icy atlantic (at 10-1) through a ground saving trip for most of the way, swung wide around the far turn, waiting just long enough not to get caught too wide, then exploded down the stretch for a win. pulled off a different trick today, also at 10-1. he guided With Patience around the track mostly two or three wide, got the jump on the closers, and held off better horses down the stretch. not unusual to see these kind of rides, but twice in four days at 10-1 is pretty good.
