How good is Firing Line

After watching American Pharaoh dominate the Belmont, I could not help but think back to the Derby and Firing Line.  When American Pharaoh runs his race (he obviously did not first out), it seems so far there has been only one challenger that could make a race of it.  That horse was Firing Line.  I am guessing that Firing Line\'s line is pretty nice......pure steady development into negative territory without a reaction followed by an XX in the Preakness. To me, this horse has license to be something special given he was the only horse that has been able to give American Pharaoh a handful.  Am I wrong?  Anybody know how this horse came out of the Preakness and what the plans are for him?  A Haskell American Pharaoh/Firing Line rematch has a huge amount of appeal to me.  ALthough Baffert somehow really owns that race in general.

From Blood Horse two weeks ago.

Callaghan said he\'ll consider the $350,000 Los Alamitos Derby (gr. II) July 4 for the colt\'s next start, with plenty of options going forward after that.

\"That\'s good timing and then we might look at a couple stakes on the East Coast—Haskell (gr. I), Travers (gr. I), those kinds of races,\" Callaghan said. \"I wouldn\'t rule out the Pacific Classic (gr. I), either.\"

I\'m assuming that AP was not at his best for CD, and Firing Line probably was.
