Touch,

Interpretation for sure.On rare occasion, the worst figures can produce a score, called the \"teddy theory\" rather well known NY sheet player from way back.

Good luck

All good. Ive been using sheets for over 15 years.Tgs off and on for about 5. What I have found, is a need to adjust MY interpretation of lines when using either. On tgs, since numbers are more orderly, (tight), I view a backwards move, or a horse a few points slower as a negative.Of course thats relative to the odds, etc. On sheets, if  pattern is ok, I love a horse coming in off an off race. And I can also state, I have been shocked using both at how bad horse I liked ran. The 4th last saturday being a prime example. Loved the 1 on sheets, and he ran a non-threatening 3rd. Looking at tgs, he didnt look nearly as good. Thus my contention, its possible to cash with both. Good luck to you as well.

Bet Twice

It\'s possible to cash betting on birthdays every race.  Does that make it as viable as the sheets or TG?  Citing isolated examples of success doesn\'t really prove anything.  A broken clock is correct twice a day.

when u cash a 317.00 ex twice a day may be enough.

Touchgold-- You\'re completely not getting this. It\'s not about resulting, but even regarding that, let\'s clean up a couple of things.

First, Ironicus was off a new top on both sheets, and there were several faster horses on Ragozin, although he was a little faster relative to the field. Second, two horses ran better figures in the race, including the one I put up. I had a conversation with the owner of that horse (a Ragozin client, by the way), and told him he had a big shot if they sent and dropped in, none if Rosario took back. Guess what he did.

But none of that is what this conversation is about. When I talk about Ragozin figures and how they have completely gone off the deep end, I discuss a) methodology (see the top of this string), and b) whether the figures even make any sense, like the Competitive Edge thing and others. I bet against CE-- that he won was not the point.

If you want to se the difference between the conversation you\'re having and the one I have had here maybe 100 times over the years, ask Jake on their board how they came up with the Preakness figures. It\'s the difference between the first post on this string (and others by me just on that one race), and \"the number is solid\".

Well, to me, cashing tickets is the bottom line. I dont even attempt to make my own numbers, so like vito, I guess, I take the number as being the number, on both products. As far as the dixie goes, yes, the outside horses were faster....and again, I personally, keyed the 3....figuring his running style and last number were solid....esp at 25-1....and yes certain numbers, like Comp edge derby weekend, the 1 at pimlico last sat 4th race leave me wondering what jake is doing...the 1 last sat in 4th, was 5 points faster than anyone, yet on tg, 2 or more were as fast or faster. So, i do agree they are getting races wrong. But ill counter with nobody is 100% accurate, and there still seems to be value using them, as with TGs. Thanks for the response.

Is Trakus any use here? Seems like AP lost a bit of ground in the Derby when he sort of blew the turn at the head of the stretch.

jerry

All fine. Would you please now turn your attention to Herbalife.

Diving Rod had a clear BO, forcing Tale of Verve to adjust course. Most of them were weaving coming home.

AP did not keep a straight course. He definitely drifted out a couple paths  but it wasn\'t close to a right turn. Espinoza shook him up and redirected him back towards the rail at the end. AP had every right to be fatigued on that final fraction. They all were.
