More to the story is the greedy politicians/Cuomo in Albany. All sorts of numbers being tossed around as to what potential revenue will come to the State from future casinos.A huge political bomb may explode in that the State is about to be sued for shorting NYC\'s public schools app $2.5billion, monies mandated by law.

Scrambling to make a deal, Albany looking at ways to come up with the $$ and a \"few\" Senators/Assemblymen looking at racing slot subsidies received by NYRA/racing from Genting. This,a disaster for NYRA should subsidies be discontinued or reduced. While the subsidies to NYRA/racing are mandated by law,Cuomo has been known to ignore that when he wants, as he ignored the bonafide NYRA Franchise agreement when he seized control of NY racing.

While this is going on, NYRA CEO Chris Kay and his minions are nickel and diming the players/owners to try to pretty up NYRA\'s financials, BRILLIANT!

Ha ha, I fist read,
Re: NYRA Oversight,  Likely to Be Extended One Year

Figured they screwed up the takeout again and had some reasons it would take a year to fix it.

The \"oversight\" double-entendre continues to be a source of amusement -- at least to me.

With it being limited to a year, I could only take it as a single entendre.

Since this was such a hit I must make it a point to practice it in the future.  Maybe I can come up with a triple or quadruple negative in one sentence.
