This one takes the cake. Racetrack was Turfway park.  Date was December 4th. The daily double in these two races paid a paltry 239.00 for 2 bucks.  There were 11 and 12 horses in the races respectively.

Race 7 Result: 5 -OTTO SHOOTIE 31.20 12.00 8.20
Race 8 Result  8 -ABBYS PROMISE 48.00 15.40 9.60

Looked like a good day to be betting Turfway.

The double pool was $3,990 do the math the take out is 22% leaving A WHOPPING BETTING COOOOOOOOOOO OF $ 26 TO TAKE OUT THE WHOLE POOL.

Size matters. Payoffs at cess pool venues do not compute as they would at a prime venue.Cess pools cannabilize the games\'handle imo and when they put me in charge, I\'m closing all of them!

Mike,

I\'m all for nominating you as racing Czar and will even offer my services as campaign manager along with a major contribution.

However:
We must form a political organization, deplete some brain cells, toss common sense out the window and throw in some mass corruption in order to be competitive in enhancing the guest experience.

Allow me to introduce the Kool Aide drinkers party slate of candidates.
Miff for racing Czar
Richiebee for racing secretary
TGJB for chief transparency officer
Boscar for mutuals manager

This slate is primed and ready for a hostile takeover of the racing industry. Please send all contributions to Frank D and I promise only a very small % will end up in my rainbow 6 fund.

Power to the punters!!!!
