With his solid win on grass doesn\'t he lock up the 3YO Title and possibly become the Favorite for Horse of the Year? Campaigned all season long and was right there for the Triple Crown and the Classic.

The Graham Motion grass horse deserves some strong consideration but is there really anyone else?

If Chrome does win as soon as they hand the microphone to that one Owner at the Eclipse Dinner please start the piano.....

Silver good to hear from you.

If I had a vote Bayern might be my 3YO Eclipse winner. My knocks on Cal Chrome are a)no wins v elders and b)CC beat a weak field in the Holly Derby; this was not like Secretariat capping off his 3YO campaign by winning two grass stakes against the best turf horses in NA and setting a track record at 12f which stood for
decades.

To award CC 3YO HOY basically said this award is for best performer in Triple Crown and preps.

Tough to vote for the one dimensional Bayern, but his body of work, which includes a 7 furlong graded stakes win, impresses me more than CC\'s.

I don\'t understand why Untapable isn\'t getting more consideration. She did more in her own division than anyone else.

Easy to say this now. If she passed on the Haskell she would have been 6 for 6 (4 Grade 1 wins) this year with $3 million in earnings. Her sole blemish was the 5th in the Haskell and that really hurt when considering her for HOY. I believe the award has become a popularity contest and if true -- CC should win hands down.
