Reference race 5 Saturday @ Santa Anita. A MSW @ 6f for 2 y/o\'s. Not much to go on regarding speed figures. But Mike Smith up on the #3 Firing Line and the big bettors have made him the even money favorite. Surely due to a string of extremely good workouts.

On the other hand the trainer Simon Callaghan practically never wins with 1st outers. What to do? The horse looks like he could win for fun but of course anything can happen in a horse race.

I liked Rosario\'s winning ride in the 8th @ Bel a lot more.

I\'m guessing Firing Line will be extremely short priced next out.

Agree with your assessment of Firing Line\'s price next time.

But I took that race to confirm the racetrack was fair today.  I\'m hopeful it is on Halloween and All Soul\'s Day.

I\'ll be in Aracadia Thursday afternoon to see the races that day and on the weekend.  Not sure on where my seats are as friends have that all taken care of but if anyone wants to meet up let me know and I\'ll find out the exact seats if necessary to meet up.

Loved the post regarding the Keeneland winner a week ago.  The board is alive and so well.....
