I\'ll beat Silver Charm to the punch.

BIG weekend coming up. Whitney Day. Hambletonian. Mets v SF Giants as the Mets play
rare meaningful August baseball. The TG Open.

The Whitney Day card features only one NY Bred race. Kudos to Panza and the gang.

The card ends with 5 stakes races, 3 of them GR 1, with full fields in all 11 races
on the day.

Putting the Whitney field of 9 in perspective, there are 2 multiple G1 stake
winners, 1 G1 SW, 3 G2 SW and 3 G3 SW. Looking at it another way, the 9 entrants in
the Whitney have won a combined $14,502,476, an average of $1,611,386 per starter.

Silver Charm

Ha Ritchie....after last weekends BEATING and braindead handicapping I swore I was taking a recess. But like Frank D told me once, \"every time you try to get out they pull you back in.\" I may make a few plays and most will be restricted to the later part of that Card as my golf game also is being fine tuned! Does appear that there are showers forecast so we may need a weather report and some races may not stay on turf.

Im curious what Racing Secretary deems Palice Malice only owes 3lbs to Departing and puts him level with Will Take Charge who has 1 win this year.  Pletcher winning at like a 40%+ clip this Meet and so perhaps they shouldn\'t bother running these things and just send him the trophy\'s and checks. But it is a Grade One and everyone should want the best horse to win.

Plus it gives D Wayne another time to crash the party, guard the punch bowl, and remind everyone \"I took this sucker down once on a sloppy track with Ladys Secret and still don\'t know how Serena\'s Song got nailed. We don\'t duck anybody. See you all at 5:30PM on Saturday\"

You really had nothing better to do than add up the earnings etc.?

TG Open has a more interesting field than the Whitney.

JB if you check the timestamp you will note that whatever time it required to do the calculations was underwritten by my employer.

Hope it stops raining immediately, was never at my best over a boggy course.

Senor Bee is 99/1 rain or shine!

It would have taken him much less time to do a compilation of our earnings.
