Training very well but still acting up a little in and out fo the Gate. A concern, dont want to be too far back against quality horses up front. Needs to run faster but eventually will and that could be today. Everything Trainer ran at Gulf was a prep as he spent considerable amount of time in Oaklawn and #2 Man was sent home to prepare for Kentucky in mid Feb. Keeneland results were no surprise and had nothing to do with anything other than good horsemanship and specific goals. Trainer won 3 races last year on Derby Day including $25 Bellarmine which I posted here, and had Atigun win and Golden Ticket beaten in head by Skyring in early Derby Day Double two years ago. More winners probably still up his sleeve as things wont cool off just yet. But not as HOT as it was at Keeneland either.

Point blank I asked the Coach I need to make some money help me. Laughingly he gave me Will Take Charge, but countered with I always thing he is gonna win. Did mention a lonshot first time Turfer in an undercard Stake (I think thats owned by Zayat) is worth a good look. The Man is crazy in Love with his new wife something that even the Haters cant hate (even though they will try to find a reason). I joked with him that \"you think Will Take Charge is always gonna win but you showed up at Gulfstream in blue jeans and a button down, you musta not thought he was gonna win there\". He countered \"they lost my luggage and I was in a Walmart on an early Sunday morning buying clothes half dressed and not showered\" I joked you fit right in then......

Good Luck everyone!!!

I\'m going with Rosalind in the doubles. From the 4 hole, Joel should sit in a great spot towards the back while things could get a bit messy around the first turn for some of the quicker ones. Runs like 9f shouldn\'t be a problem, and they\'ve been pointing towards this race since last year. Needs a few good ones to back up late, but 8-1 is a pretty good price.

You guys have been seeing this bias right? Nothing is winning from far back. Have to be on lead by stretch. OF course things could change but can\'t see my wager on someone coming from the way back.

Right there with you Michael.  Keying her in doubles and verticals.
Unbrideled Forever, Thank You Marylou, MM Sophia and the chalk underneath. KM too.

Lots of money against Untapable, some hot $ on Unbridled Forever in the exactas.

well, I misread the pace there. the scratch of the :45 filly hurt, but they were all running for 2nd regardless. brilliant performance by the winner after losing about 5 1/2 lengths in ground.

Whoops - Forget about it!
