I note that, according to Michael Dickinson via the DRF, Tapit coughed on the way back to the barn yesterday and showed mucus in his lungs (3 on a scale of 5 according to Dickinson).  If you\'re considering him in the futures pool (he\'s not for me at anything like the current odds of 12/1), that might excuse his performance yesterday, but also lead you to question whether he\'ll be in the gate on May 1.
