I think the key to this Florida Derby is going to be if one is able to accurately project the pace and the placing of the horses on that pace. (Caveat: The race results Florida Derby day will have to be considered.) Theres four horses with the potential to be early pace factors, but realistically it boils down to two: Value Plus and Frisky Spider. If one can foresee how the pace will play out between those two the odds for cashing the race increase exponentially. It\'s not an easy task, but factor it right and you position yourself to cash. Sometimes, I don\'t know where my ideas come from. I think they are the product of years of race analysis, but I don\'t always know for sure, but it came to me. I\'ve had my epiphany. I\'ll sell it to you T-Graph for Read the Footnotes number.

My thoughts are that RTF relaxes more tomorrow.

I\'m not too worried about VP or FS since I do not believe either one of them can get the distance, regardless of the pace. I\'m thinking that VP may run the same type of race that FUNNY CIDE ran after one intial explosion going 7f. I was never one to get too excited about souped up 7f times off of the layoff. I think VP sits off slightly, tries to move on the turn, then watches RTF blow by at the quarter pole.

Unless TAPIT is a super horse, I say THE CLIFFS EDGE and FRIENDS LAKE, both off of ground saving rides, slug up and battle for the 2 and 3 spots.

Perhaps Triple wagering is the way to go here.

Good Luck,
