Rick Violette should be removed from his position as a do nothing figure head for the horseman. I hope politicians decide that they receive no subsidy at all.
Whatever security is being used for the Belmont stakes should be used year round and the funding should come from the money being given to subsidize racing.

On another note I want to add that the super trainers can not move horses up on the turf like they do on the dirt.I have had three great days betting turf only. Don\'t understand why?? Even Dutrow could not make them improve on turf. I guess that is why they call it the \"blood horse\".

Agreed 100%.  Why isn\'t everyone demanding this?  Owners, bettors, trainers, etc.  As I\'ve said before, wouldn\'t this protect the trainers too?
