First of all, big congrats to Vito and others who called Orb not running his race.  I didn\'t see that coming at all so kudos to those that did.  Nicely done

Second of all, the Dixie was a total disaster.  We told Rosie to go to or near the lead and get down on the rail which was very live yesterday there and instead she took back off a slow pace and went wide all the way around.  She had it in her head that there was too much pace in the race to be near the lead based on her comments in the paddock.  We told her not to worry about it and to go to for it and you all saw what we got.  That\'s why Gary Stevens is in the Hall of Fame.

Hope some of you folks made a killing yesterday, I know I didn\'t!

Can\'t wait for the Belmont!

That\'s two races Jocks chose their own plan of attack (Screenplay and Swift Warrior) and both cost you..I saw Skyring was going to the lead yesterday but I said Swift would be right there so I didn\'t have to worry about that one holding on..I went four deep and when I saw Skyring get loose just like the preakness I said under my breath.. F###..

Sorry to hear that Jim

Belmont is shaping up to be a great betting race.  Preakness was a pass race for me as I wasn\'t going to bet against orb, couldn\'t play with him at those odds and had no strong opinion about who to use in the verticals behind him.  Some will say the rail draw beat orb and some will say he was race ridden or it was the slow pace or the ride.  But anyway you look at it thats all chicken and egg what came first type of stuff.  I say he bounced.

Same thing with departed.  His coat was dull and to me it looked like he lost weight coming out of his last work.  Didn\'t look at all like the colt that was training two weeks ago.

I\'m thinking we\'ll see a pretty full field in the Belmont as no one is going to be afraid of Oxbow and they now know Orb is beatable.  Time to start looking for a horse or two that can get the 1 1/2.

I agree!?

Seems like Jose Espinoza had good chemistry with Swift Warrior.
Why the switch before the Woodford when he had given out two perfect rides this year?

Belmont hopefully gets a full field which would make for a great betting race.
Nothing in this crop comes home fast on dirt routing including Orb.
Stamina is not a strong suit for this bunch of three year olds so figuring out who can stagger home the best is gonna be tough but rewarding.

Can\'t wait to bet the other horse who was on the deep CD rail....Revolutionary.

Good Luck,
