Normandy Invasion = Jazil

This is in absolutely no way meant to knock Normandy Invasion at all, to the contrary, it\'s meant as a compliment to compare NI to a Classic winner.

Jazil was a smallish, slow starting closer who came running at the end and got up in the shadow of the wire to get a placing in the Wood which qualified him for the Derby.

And, like Jazil, I think NI could pass tiring horses to get a small piece of the Derby pie but these aren\'t the kind of horses I like to play on top in the Derby.

First and most importantly given where I am posting this, there are a bunch of horses faster than NI heading into the Derby.

Second, he will be much farther back of what is sure to be a quick pace and as a small, green colt, he\'s going to have a much tough time navigating around that wall of horses

Really nice horse, just doesn\'t look like a Derby winner to me.  Like Jazil, maybe he gets a small piece of the Derby, skips the Preakness and then comes back and makes some noise in the Belmont
