Point of Entry got a perfect setup in last and its not gonna be that easy here. That being said this is a late developing horse who is good and about to get better. The Analysis writer is correct about the price and weights. But one thing about this runner is he is consistent and sound. Other than Turbo Compressor most of the others are not. And if they are they are consistently slower. Trainer Shug is running at a rate of 33% TOPS in the last 90 days.

5/2 ML is wishful thinking. Probable odds of 9/5 require a 1/2 pt forward move. This is the delima.

No way on earth do I play POE at 2/1 or thereabouts. I would play Brilliant Speed at 3x the price. Race shape sets up for him, there are some interesting price horses to hook up with BS, including the 7 and 4.

interesting that Joe Bravo passes on Little Mike in the Arlington Million to ride Turbo Compressor.  He loves Little Mike and his been his guy through all those victories.  Either he doesn\'t think Mike can go 1 1/4 or he thinks TC is a lock.

Not so sure it was Bravo\'s call.

Dominguez was already going to be in Chicago, and
didn\'t have a mount in the Million; he is 26% winners
with trainer Dale Romans over the last two years.

Seems like a no-brainer to me, but admittedly I am
biased: if I were a trainer, I give a sack of
potatoes a leg up before I\'d use Bravo.

Sounds like Brilliant Speed camp is gonna change tactics and stay up close to Turbo Compressor.

Playing Al Khali to run his race and hoping Junior Alvarado can work out a trip.

Regardless of the outcome,Brilliant Speed is faster than Turbo Compressor?

Dale Romans announced a couple weeks ago that he was replacing Bravo on Little Mike.

This race was like a Free Square in Bingo.

For a Big Horse he looked Athletic out there today and ran like an Adult down the stretch. I will be VERY surprised if this was another 3. Not sure how he will do on those rock hard West Coast Turf Courses come Breeders Cup day. But I do know this, if Questing can stay in one piece and on the course she will LOVE that Santa Anita dirt track.

Silver,

Don\'t fret it will be in the TG 1 range. One of the fastest grass routers off yesterday, with a perfect trip.

Miff....thx. I dont think you are nor should anyone else overplay the perfect trip. There is something to be said for a Big Horse with a Long Neck being able to tuck inside and be comfortable the entire way and manuever his own perfect trip. When there was some unusual action on the first turn and the pace quickened a little from 49:2 to 1:13:3, he stayed his position. Wheeling for home he was able to drift out into the clear and LONG REACHING STRIDE home under hand urging. This is a SERIOUS long distance turf horse. Maybe one of the better ones we have seen in America in a Long Time. You heard it here first.....[/u]
