We\'ve all been there with our knocks, so we should also say when he\'s right on, no? The ground loss was exactly the key as he said it would be. The other horses traveled some 40+ feet further than the winner!

I don\'t think it will turn out to be a strong race or key for the first Sat in May, and I was never a big fan of Union Rags, not for a mile and a quarter anyway, but I guess if you like him, the price will be much better.

And with Borel riding \'Indy\' on May 5, he will literally take a ton of money, that\'s fine with me too--he\'s never shown he can pass a horse, and he\'s not going wire to wire with all the other insane speed that always show up at CD--though one thing in his favor (if you like him) aside from his breeding is probably the spacing. The 5 weeks would actually be good regarding his pattern in 2012--big effort, rest, big effort., rest, ???

Oh well, a long way to go in any event. I\'ve been taking it easy. I have found Santa Anita completely unplayable for numerous reasons, the few days I\'ve looked at Gulfstream, I\'ve found it to be pretty good--at least they have real jockeys unlike So Cal. Talk about saving ground--don;t get me started on that.

I\'m pretty upset about Dubai, I had a good theory that played out well, but I made some really stupid plays and non-plays and didn\'t win anything substantial. I\'m not sure why these American trainers even bother going over there anymore--every US hose was a complete toss for me with no lasix and a synthetic track. I screwed up the World Cup by hammering Capponi every way possible JUST NOT UNDERNEATH and not boxing with his entry-mate. The oldest lesson I ever learned since they\'ve been uncoupling horses is when a trainer has 2 you have to use both ESP THE LONGER PRICE--but why the hell were the odds so different? How the could Monnterosso go off at 35-1? It should have been a good thing, I know, but I didn\'t take it that way. Brtual stupidity is all I can say.

Not to redboard to much, but it looks like I lucked into a pk3 when the aussie fav won the middle leg of the pk3 sequence, I had the 11 who was scratched late, and I imagine I got the fav, didn\'t know until late that night. I did really like Daddy long legs after I took a bad beat on the aidan horse MOH last year coming in with the same line. And I thought the horse in the the 6th was a standout single
